I am offering free friendly beginner lessons in harp or piano, with basic music theory. My aim is to inspire others to love and to learn music through fun, engaging and interactive sessions.

These face to face lessons will be held at my home in Isleworth with my parent to supervise. These lessons are available to beginner students aged between 8-16 years old. For your first lesson, a parent is welcome to attend. I can offer a maximum of 4 x 30 minute free trial lessons per student to help you decide if you wish to pursue your learning. After that you can choose from the following options: continue your learning with me at a student rate of £25 per 45 mins, or I will be able to recommend professional teachers if you wish to pursue your learning elsewhere.

Harp: Getting comfortable at the instrument, posture and hand shape, reading music, rhythm, tone, simple repertoire and basic tuning or lever/pedal awareness where appropriate.

Piano: Keyboard familiarity, posture, reading, rhythm, coordination, technique, musical expression and pieces suited to the pupil’s level.

Free trial: We will start with a short introductory lesson to discuss goals, try a simple activity and learn some fun tunes. In total I can offer 4 x 30 minute free lessons, in person. No instruments or music required. I am available to teach on weekdays after school between 4-8pm or school holidays.
